Carmen Miro Biography
I began work as a professional psychic in 2001 and have not looked back. I started consulting professionally with Tarot cards, mainly over the phone and over the web - and in 2004 I moved onto my primary speciality and love, Empathic work.
I was born and raised in Europe, and I feel having been raised there really encouraged my artistic and philosophical side. My mother was an art dealer, and my father a pioneer of the then burgeoning computer age. This made for an inspired child!
Even if originally an artist and classical animator by trade, I had always been an avid intuitive. As a young child of 3, I remember my first mediumistic experiences: I also used to 'see' what people dreamt when they were asleep, and in the advent of my prescient abilities, my dreams in themselves often came true.
When I moved to Africa as a child, I fell into a magical world where the West fell away, and as children there we were left to teach ourselves what would not come our way. So with few media influences, we were left to battle boredom on the southern tip of the continent. The entertainment came in the form of reading Tarot Cards, and playing in the spirit world...
One of my closest friends at the time, who is now also a very successful psychic in South Africa used to engage in the 'what is he thinking' game with me all the time. We would wonder what our 'crushes du jour' thought of us, and would in a similar style to what I do now, ponder for hours of 'their intentions'.
This had a very practical application, and after hours of phone time, and many boyfriends later, we actually became proficient in this type of work!
After an illness much later in my life, I reinvented myself, and I actually fell back into what I was always drawn to... spiritual work.
Many years later, I will say, that my empathy has really stood me in the best way possible, in my dating and relationship life. It was only after I gained the confidence through reading for others that I began to really apply my findings to my relationships.
My soul mission is to help people understand each other, and to be able to navigate their relationships by understanding why their partner perceives them in a particular manner.
Often if we understand that a person is reacting out of insecurity, we can start seeing that they do not intend to hurt us, they are simply defending themselves from something or someone that may have hurt them long before we came into the picture. This has been has helped many of my clients decide whether they should stay in a relationship or not. I endeavour to be truthful in all that I tell you, in a compassionate manner, as I hope to help you gain closure and insight - I do not believe in fear mongering or giving negative readings to keep you in a state of anxiety. To Understand, is to Forgive.
